This football camp is in the beautiful Okanagan in the city of Kelowna, B.C. This is the 6th annual Okanagan Pro-Am Football Camp. The camp Attracts youth football players from all over B.C. & Alberta. We have the distinct pleasure of having some of the best professional football players who have played in the NFL & CFL.

The camp is going taking place at the City Park in Kelowna, B.C. on May 5th and May 6th, 2012.

  • JR played 4 years college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils and was a third round pick of the New England Patriots in 2000. Redmond is best-known for his role on the 2001 New England Patriots. In the Divisional Playoff Game, Redmond caught three passes in the Patriots' game-winning overtime drive of the famous "Snow Bowl" playoff game against the Oakland Raiders. Most famously, in Super Bowl, with the Patriots on their own 30 yard line with 41 seconds left, Redmond caught a 3 yard dump-down pass from quarterback Tom Brady, dodged a tackler to pass the first down marker and then dragged a second tackler to the sideline, extending the ball out of bounds to stop the clock. The stopped clock allowed the Patriots to keep the drive alive and led, plays later, to a Patriots victory on an Adam Vinatieri's field goal. In 2002 JR played for the Oakland Raiders for 2 years and finished his career in 2005 with the Arizona Cardinals.

  • Scott played collegiately for the Arizona State Sun Devils and was a Dick Butkus finalist his senior season for top LB in the nation. Scott was drafted in 1997 by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round. Scott played for the Colts in 1997 and part of 1998. Scott was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1999 but had to retire early due to injuries from the game.

  • Marvel played collegiately for the Arizona State Sun Devils and was named to the All American team his senior year 1999. Marvel was a second round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2000. Marvel played 9 years for the Steelers and won two Super Bowls with the Steelers in 2006 & 2008. Marvel also played in the 2005 Pro Bowl. Marvel signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2009 but retired before the end of the season.

  • JR Ruffin is a Canadian football defensive back for the BC Lions of the CFL JR's first season with the Leo's added his second Grey Cup ring to his career. He was signed by the Calgary Stampeders as an undrafted free agent in 2006 and was part of the 2008 Grey Cup championship season in Calgary. He played college football at Idaho and is a native of Detroit, Michigan.

  • Hughes played four years at Northwood University. As a senior, he led all of Div. II with an average of 6.5 solo tackles per game and was named an All-American. He finished his collegiate career with 372 tackles, including 36 tackles for loss, 11 sacks and six interceptions. The Timberwolves reached the playoffs three times with Hughes and won Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in 2004.

    * Stampeders leader or co-leader in sacks for four consecutive seasons (2008-11)
    * Returned a fumble recovery 71 yards for his first career CFL touchdown on Oct. 1, 2011, against Saskatchewan
    * Made his first career interception on Oct. 21 against Saskatchewan and returned it 67 yards.
    * Forced a fumble during an Oct. 22, 2010, game against BC that resulted in a recovery and touchdown for teammate Keon Raymond.
    * Recorded multiple sacks in three consecutive games during the 2009 season.
    * Recorded eight tackles and a sack in the 2009 West final.
    * A member of the Stampeders’ 2008 Grey Cup championship squad.
    * Is the Stampeders active leader in sacks with 25.
    * Recovered a fumble in the 2008 West Final against BC.
    * Led the CFL with 12 tackles for loss in 2008.
  • Travis Moore enters his third season with the Lions as the team’s receivers coach after spending his first full season as an offensive assistant and running backs coach with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2009. Prior to 2009 Travis was a guest coach with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints in 2007 before catching on as wide receivers coach for the AFL’s New Orleans Voodoo. Moore was also a guest coach at the Montreal Alouettes training camp in 2008.

    Travis played his college ball at Ball State and went on to have a stellar 11-year career as a receiver, Travis amassed 645 career receptions, 9,930 yards and 79 touchdowns with the Calgary Stampeders (1994, 1996-2002) and the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2003-05).

    He was named a CFL and West Division All-Star three times and currently sits 14th on the CFL’s all-time receiving yards list. He captured two Grey Cup championships with the Stampeders in 2001 and 1998. Moore also played with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints in 1995 and the XFL’s San Francisco Demons in 2001.

  • Mike Reilly played college football at Central Washington University and was a co-runner-up for the Harlon Hill Trophy, which is presented to the nation’s top Division II football player, as a senior. He holds the NCAA all-divisions record with at least one touchdown pass in all 46 career games. For his career he completed 64 percent of his passes over his four years as a starter for 12,448 yards, 118 touchdowns and only 40 interceptions.

    Mike was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009 but finished the season with the St. Louis Rams.

    In 2010, the BC Lions brought Mike in as a back up to Lion's pivot Travis Lulay and was part of the 2011 Grey Cup Champion BC Lions team last season.
